Remote Brand Copywriter wanted for donor-focused charity | $30-$55 per hour

We are a donor-focused charity in need of a Copywriter who specializes in writing up-to-date, creative copy for brands looking to step up and grow their online presence. In this role, alongside a team of professionals, you will be responsible for creating a new innovative charity platform. You specifically will be tasked with writing the captivating, awe-inspiring brand message that thoroughly illustrates our organization's identity, purpose, and vision of the future. As a result of our excellent work, we will produce an awesome nonprofit website where people can help others worldwide and experience the true joy giving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret creative direction through communication with organization leadership.
• Research and present strategies for brand copy based on current and emerging trends, industry standards, and marketing tactics.
• Establish brand copy guide, consistent with overall brand identity guidelines, that can be followed to reproduce copy with the same message and tone of voice.
• Write compelling copy which communicates our story in a way that creates a desire to get involved with the organization's mission to help others.
• Conceptualize and adapt ideas through an iteration process of editing and proofreading.
• Collaborate with others in a friendly and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Portfolio of work
• Writes professional-grade copy
• Conducts high-quality research
• Follows marketing and branding principles and best practices
• Creative imagination in choice of words
• Solid SEO knowledge and skills
• 3+ years as copywriter or similar work experience

LOGISTICS:

• Start - immediately
• Duration - 3 to 6-month expectation
• Location - remote unless based in Charlotte, NC, or the surrounding area
• Communication - Gmail, Google Drive, and/or Slack
• Meetings - weekly video calls with team

SALARY:

• Hourly - $30-$55/hour
• Fixed Price - willing to negotiate
