I’m editing a Pride feature for our summer issue, and I am accepting pitches NOW. Queer/trans writers to the front. Profiles, historical narratives, previews of any Pride events that might move forward this year: send them.
Rates: not ultra-rigid—they’ll vary based on amount of reporting, number of interviews, total number of stories that wind up in the package, etc.—but roughly 60/70 cents a word.
