wrkfrce.com, a remote-work media startup devoted to helping people build their careers around their lives, and not vice versa, seeks an experienced writer to produce unique, original editorial content for its website. This engagement will be a four-week trial to start, with potential to become a long-term freelance position. You should be comfortable with producing a high volume of content and tailoring your writing style to accommodate the needs of both employee and employer audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce up to three pieces of content per week
- Types of content you produce may include the following:800–1,200-word feature articles
Product reviews
Partnership content
Affiliate articles - Ensuring that content is properly researched
- Maintaining originality in your work
- Proofreading your assignments in advance of submitting them
- Writing in adherence with house style guide
- Progress evaluations with editorial staff
REQUIREMENTS
- Five years of experience as a professional writer
- Experience and comfort with being developmentally edited and copyedited
- Portfolio of published writing samples, ideally with byline
- Familiarity with G Suite and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication and time management skills
PAYMENT
We will compensate you $150, on average, for each exclusive piece you produce. We issue payment promptly.
