Natalie Adler, Editor at Lux Magazine, is looking for pitches:
Calling all the girls and gays to pitch Lux Magazine! We’re looking for different voices to illuminate our shared struggles. We pay $1/word for features and $.50/word for all else. We’re also working on a transparent rates sheet with the Freelance Solidarity Project.
We’re a socialist feminist print glossy magazine with articles about class and community, beauty and justice. We want articles on a wide array of topics, and I’m interested in articles that imagine what the world would look like with enough for everyone.
I want to read class-conscious critique on issues including disability and illness, geography and climate, organizing and mutual aid. Feminist lens a must but all genders welcome. Queers to the front! Also essays on sex work *by* sex workers.
