I am looking for stories that shed light on and reveal groundbreaking accomplishments by a disabled figure in history or a group of people with disabilities.
Like all our stories, they should focus on a central character or group of people, and have a compelling narrative arc. To get a sense of what our stories look like, you can read through our archives.
While I am looking for stories on disabled figures and groups, their accomplishments do not need to be limited to disability justice. We're looking for stories that are full of rich, colorful details, with lots of dramatic and exciting scenes.
Our stories tend to be around 2,000 to 3,500 words, and we pay $400 to $1,000 depending on the depth of reporting.
