Financial Writers wanted for large investment bank | ~32 cents per word

A large independent Canadian Investment Bank is looking for 2-3 financial writers for a long-term relationship and paying CAD $0.40/word (ie: $200/500 words) for content 0-2000 words.

We are looking for competent English-language writers that are versatile. You are able to write for various financial topics in a variety of formats, including blogs, articles, case studies, white papers and other projects as they arise. The ability to write complex financial articles beyond the standard personal finance articles is the main requirement.

This could be a long-term working relationship for the right freelancers. All content submitted will be subject to pass Copyscape. SEO knowledge, organic saturation, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure are expected. 48-hour turnarounds are expected, and deadlines must be met.

REQUIREMENTS

• Available for video interview and communication by video when needed after hiring.
• 3-5 examples of your writing in Word format (.doc). Only financial writing examples will be accepted.
• Willing to sign an NDA.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

• Relevant financial certifications (CSI, CIM, CFA, PFP, CFP, LLQP)
• Educational course/certifications/degrees in relevant writing fields (English, finance, communications, history, political science etc)
• Editor certifications
• Experience writing for other financial institutions
• Active, full LinkedIn profile
• Experience writing for a North American audience (for understanding cultural differences between writing for an NA audience compared to other international audiences)

PROCESS/PAYMENT

We will be conducting interviews, and chosen candidates will be offered a paid trial article at the above-posted rate. You will be provided with an article brief and will be assessed for final consideration on that article. Upon completion/submission of the article, submit an invoice in Canadian funds, and it will be paid in full electronically and in Canadian funds. Payment processing can take up to 14 days. Upon interview, before paid trial, you will be made aware of the employer to confirm the authority of the contract, and I will provide a confirmation email from the Employer domain as verification.

Those offered long-term relationships will be able to submit invoices for electronic payment. Candidates will report to me personally as the Marketing Manager.
