DHgate is seeking a freelance Copywriter to help translate our brand to the US marketplace and drive growth among new and existing audiences. This role will partner closely with the acquisition and retention marketing leads to develop persuasive copy that positions DHgate as the go-to resource for new marketplace sellers in the US.
The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of the roles of copy and content in marketing, and can flex between short- and long-form content to develop compelling social media assets, email campaigns, and blog posts. You’re excited about the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and help us develop our brand voice, and enjoy partnering with designers and marketers to create content that provides value to consumers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with our digital designer to develop social, email, and landing page content
- Partner with marketing leads to develop and execute on a content calendar focused on educating prospects
- Work with the marketing team to define DHgate’s brand voice in the US
- Accurately estimate timelines and communicate dependencies and issues as appropriate
- Bring unique, customer-focused ideas to the table
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of copywriting and content development experience in the digital space
- Experience developing and communicating a brand’s voice
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to successfully navigate through ambiguity
- Experience developing search-optimized content that’s written for the end consumer
- Writing portfolio demonstrating your written work for relevant real-world clients
