Remote Copywriter wanted | $50 per hour

We are currently looking for a Freelance Copywriter to work with the Jordan Team. This is a unique position with an enormous opportunity to create blog and case study content for our clients.

This is NOT an entry level position. Ideal candidate will have technical writing experience in the commercial construction industry, specifically with pre-engineered metal building systems and components. To be considered, candidates will have extensive Copywriting experience (3-5 years).

All resumes must be accompanied by a cover letter addressing the responsibilities of the job and the candidates aptitude to accomplish them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn individual Client details (brand story, products, audiences) in order to develop written content.
• Responsible for scheduling interviews with Subject Matter Experts.
• Responsible for developing interview questions for Subject Matter Experts. This may require advance research on a topic or project.
• Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts in order to deliver on a blog topic or case study.
• Potentially do own research over a topic where no Subject Matter Expert is available.
• Take information from interviews, Client websites, other external resources and create written blog or case study content.
• Interface with Jordan Brand Management on a daily to weekly basis for status updates.
• Responsible for any edits or revisions requested by Subject Matter Expert or Client.
• Drafts are expected within 5-7 days of Subject Matter Expert interview completion.
• This person would be working as an extension of the Jordan Advertising team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience (3-5 years) in copywriting.
• Experience with technical writing in the commercial construction industry, specifically with pre-engineered metal building systems and components would be preferred.
• If you have Media Relations/Public Relations or Earned Media experience with construction publications (print and digital), that would be a plus.
• Ability to tell a story for a project case study, incorporating multiple points of view and subject matter experts.
• Must be able to manage multiple assignments at once for multiple Clients/brands.
• Strong written communication skills
