A digital marketing agency is looking for a contract-based freelance copywriter with excellent writing and research skills to help us produce outstanding content for a client. Primary responsibilities include producing two 1,000 word blog posts per month with a potential for additional projects.
This role is project-based and 100% remote.
Compensation: $150 per 1,000 word blog post.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences
- Write two original 1,000 word blog posts a month
- Write clear and grammatically correct copy with a distinct brand voice
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed
- Revise and edit copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work
- Exceptional writing and research skill
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, english, communications, or related discipline
- Familiarity with gaming and / or health industries
- Familiarity with SEO and keywords
- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
- Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
- Familiarity with email copywriting
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
