Our standard rate is $AU400 for pieces usually in the 1800–2500 word range. But we are flexible on wordcount. We don't tend to publish short oped-type pieces in the 800–1500 word range, as a rule.
In terms of content, we prefer thoughtful analysis and writing to heavy polemic. Location: Anywhere, but we prefer material that isn't too specific to a given country and that can be enjoyed by a general international audience.
