Hours: Not a 40 hour/week
If fulltime elsewhere and open to freelancing, that is ok
Plan for 5-20 hours/week (starting out around 20 hours)
Pay Rate: $75-$105/hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Portfolio is required upon submission
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Jump in and understand the brand, understand the requirements
- Writing everything from radio, digital copy, social, campaign development
DUTIES:
- When the team has a high volume of work: everyone is too busy, need to call the freelancer to take over a specific project
- Other projects: Where there are more pieces involved where they request for other channels
- Might be one week in radio, then email might be due a week later – for the same project
Not looking for: newspaper or magazine editorial writing or public relation writing experience
