Freelancers, I'm looking for your money stories. Pitch me ideas about your wins, your losses, your salary negotiations, your debt, your savings, your side hustles.
Have you successfully pulled off financial minimalist moves (like saved 50% of your paycheck)? Teach us your ways! Or maybe you found a way to afford a major purchase that was totally worth it? Please, do tell.
If most people loved numbers they way they loved XYZ (insert passions here), we'd probably all be millionaires. Looking for unique stories here, not just equations to plug into a calculator (though if you blow me away with math, bonus points).
It's also great if you're interested in sharing some personal anecdotes about which financial products you swear by (and why) in your stories, but not required.
Last thing: I was recently told that I should coin the phrase "Money is boring, but you're not" (which I used in a recent piece). I don't know about that, but reminder that most people (I'd argue) are interested in YOU, not just numbers.
I realize this may be super vague, so let me better define what would make a good story: Hot takes on conventional money wisdom (with the anecdotes/data to back it up), how signing up for a credit card helped you pay for your honeymoon, how you grew past a limiting money belief...
