- A unique perspective for an opinion piece (especially if you have specific expertise)
- Ideas on how to respond to recent events/announcements/debates in film news
WHAT I’M NOT AFTER:
- Retrospectives or anniversaries (this the news section, so pretty much every story needs to be future-facing)
- Names of people you want to interview (pitch an angle, not a celebrity)
- Reviews or features (again, wrong section)
