VIDEO: "OP-1: I brought Teenage Engineering's flagship synth to Superbooth and asked everyone about it"
Added 2025-05-23 22:32:41 +0000 UTCTwo weeks ago, I had the pleasure of traveling to Berlin to attend the annual Superbooth synthesizer festival. And about two weeks before that, I purchased an OP-1 on eBaY. If you don’t know what that is, it’s an iconic little synthesizer by Teenage Engineering. I’ve personally wanted one of these forever, and I figured a trip like this would be the perfect chance to get to know this instrument.
In this video, I do just that, learning the ins and outs of the OP in its natural habitat: on the road. I also talk to a bunch of my Youtube friends about what makes the device compelling.

2026-01-23 15:52:27 +0000 UTCI have the OG and Field and will never sell these, the OP-1 was the first synth I bought about 6-7 years ago and still to this day, it’s often my grab and go instrument to work on a track. It’s pure fun and experimental. Nice video you did there! Kudos
