I'm always looking for more feature story pitches. Before you pitch, read a very recent issue or two. Have relevant clips ready if we haven't worked together. Feature means layers, not one interesting quirk. Every rate depends on the writer and the story workload, but we frequently pay more than $1/word for narrative features.
