I’m stepping into a new role as online associate culture editor. Pitch me with your story ideas on religion, music, justice, movies, books, humor. Ideal pitches show your writing style and include reporting plan, background research, goat gifs.
Generally, we pay between $100-$500 for online articles. Short commentaries start on the lower end of that scale, deep analysis and reviews are in the middle, and we're able to pay the most for reported articles, increasing as word count and number of sources increase.
