During the late 1890s, Message was originally called the Gospel Herald. This premier religious paper uplifted readers with encouraging Bible topics, and keys to Christian living. In particular, it sought to restore and elevate that first generation of emancipated African Americans. At almost 120 years, Message is still uplifting and educating its readers.
Message is available bi-monthly in print format and is also available in online, accessible to Android, iPhone and iPad users.
Target Audience: Our target reader is an 18 to 35 year-old urbanite who may not be religious, but is seeking spiritual fulfillment and answers to life’s dilemmas.
