Remote Copywriter wanted for software developer audience | $45-$50 per hour

Resources Online is looking for a copywriter/content writer to craft original (and clever!) blog and social media posts, email, and other types of communications for the software developer audience.

This copywriter has professional experience as a developer and writing for the developer audience.

This is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) contract position.

THIS COPYWRITER/CONTENT WRITER WILL:

Write copy for a variety of social channels.
Have a deep understanding of social, digital, and new media. (Understand the science behind picking out the right hashtags, CTAs, images, and icons.)
Write blog and social media posts, emails, and other content types on demand or in advance of a planned media event.
Have professional experience as a software or web developer.
Know how to write social copy for the developer audience. (Communicating with a developer voice is critical for this role.)
Leverage their sharp wit and humor to craft to-the-point content in the right tone, and know when not to use humor.
Work with other teams to align on requests and deliver content in a timely fashion.
Have a positive, can do attitude.
