Pitches wanted (food gardening) | $300+ per piece
Added 2021-07-03 17:58:55 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: MILLION GARDENS MOVEMENT
PITCH CALL: We're looking for how-tos, personal essays, and tips and tricks on food gardening for our blog (linked below). We especially want party-themed and children/teen related food gardening articles for the rest of the summer with quick turnaround
Our Movement's goal is to get a million more gardens across North America, so articles should focus on teaching + helping with that. Rate is roughly $300 per piece, but increases if high-quality photographs, videos, or graphics are included. Send pitches to pearse@modfarmer.com.
We're excited to learn from new gardeners, writers who can tie daily climate resilency into gardening, and people who don't see themselves represented in the gardening world.
We do take international pitches, but they should be informative to gardeners in the US and Canada (e.g., growing plants that can be grown here, explaining a Sri Lankan seedseller's experience of west coast transplants, interviews with tea gardeners across regions about how anyone can start a tea garden, etc.).
