Journalism is hard to do well even under the best conditions, which are not the current conditions. But great work is still being done all the time. I wanted to create a space to celebrate and amplify that work.
Like all new projects, my goals for the publication are aspirational. It's a work in progress; we'll see how it evolves. What I know for sure is that, as long as it's active, it will be a place to celebrate the power and potential of reporting and storytelling.
