Call for pitches: We are looking for pitches for our Ideas section, which I edit. I wanted to share a bit about what we’re looking for, and how you can pitch.
The Ideas section is our home for arguments, opinions, and essays on how tech, culture, and human experience collide in communities outside the West.
We are looking for local ideas with global implications. Our stories often explore the human-level impact of tech internationally. We prioritize local voices: entrepreneurs, workers, activists, politicians, regulators, end users, and more. And we connect the dots globally.

Our rates start at $500 but it depends a bit on the scope of the piece.
