This month we’re talking all things hip-hop feminism. We’re still accepting pitches, so send them to us at at bwhite@thegumbo.net and nadirahsimmons@thegumbo.net. put “July theme” in the subject line and include a write up of your pitch and clips. $175 for pieces 750-1000 words.

We want pitches on its roots and evolution, how it's shown up in hip-hop music, its impact on modern culture and more from Black women and non-binary writers at all levels.
