TechnologyAdvice is looking for consistent contract writers for our portfolio of technology-centric websites, in particular:

• Datamation: A leading industry resource for B2B data professionals and technology buyers
• IT Business Edge: A site for IT professionals from all corners of the tech world looking for cutting edge technology solutions that solve their unique business challenges.
• Enterprise Networking Planet: A site that aims to educate and assist IT administrators in building strong network infrastructures for their enterprise companies.
• Enterprise Storage Forum: A site that offers practical information on data storage and protection from several different perspectives: hardware, software, on-premises services and cloud services.
• Webopedia: An online information technology and computer science resource for IT professionals, students, and educators.

EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE (if you don't fit all of these, but fit most, we still encourage you to apply):

• Experience in journalism, business, B2B, and tech
• Experience in data science, data analytics, big data, etc.
• Ability/experience in writing for C-level executives
• Knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies driving networking, applications, and storage
• Has a finger on the pulse of brands and technologies shaping enterprise development

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Ability to contribute often. Our ideal candidate is a freelancer who has a lot of availability.
• Ability to write, receive edits, and revise content in Google Docs.
• Excellent written skills and experience writing for B2B audiences - Knowledge of SEO and ability to apply it to articles

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Writing technically sound articles at the briefing and direction of the website editor about IT subjects
• Editing and revising based on editor’s comments and feedback
• Staying on top of IT news trends and pitching topics to the editor
• Delivering timely work in line with deadline requirements.

We pay per article invoiced monthly. Payment will be decided by the editor based on content needs and expertise of the writer.
