POSITION OVERVIEW:
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience as a copywriter in an agency environment. Write, edit and publish content across various social media networks from concept through final execution. This includes short-form editorial post copy, script writing for video produced content and long-form web content for related campaign landing pages. Ability to optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors and brand guidelines. Experience in food and/or agriculture industry a plus.
SKILLS:
- Collaborates with creative team to determine conceptual and copy direction
- Determines the tone, style, structure and voice of client’s brand
- Translates creative direction into engaging and effective copy concepts
- Excels at writing copy for both paid and organic social media assets
- Ability to direct video editors to tell a cohesive and compelling story
- Understands business objectives and audience demographics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present creative concepts to client
