Novara Media is seeking article pitches for a series on SEX. Questions we're trying to answer include:

• What kind of work is sex work?
• How has the pandemic fucked us?
• Why does consent dominate sex discourse?
• Can we police desire?
• Can rapists be rehabilitated?
• Is queer sex just good sex?
• Why is Matt Hancock getting more than us?

We're looking for opinion, features, essays, analysis and reporting with a strong political angle. Pitch sex@novaramedia.com, including SEX SERIES in the subject line and your clippings.

We've recently commissioned articles of 1000-1500 words for around £150, although we have some additional funding for this series so we will hopefully be able to pay a little more for longer pieces.

UK-based writers only? No, not necessarily. But as our audience is mainly in the UK, the topic would need to translate.

We've nearly finished commissioning but still space for a couple more ideas.
