What Now Media Group, INC is looking for a self-starter, go-getter freelance reporter to write daily breaking news stories, covering a wide range of ground-up developments (multifamily, affordable housing, mixed-use, hotel, etc.) for one of our eight publications (position is remote, hire-able from anywhere).
The ideal candidate would have experience covering CRE/Urban Planning, is a self-starter, and has an undeniable passion for being the first to break a story.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and write two daily articles, Monday through Friday, covering breaking CRE/Urban Planning news utilizing permit application data, neighborhood council meeting applications, etc. This position is designed to require no more than a few hours of work per day. Training and access to research tools will be provided.
SKILLS
- Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-starter. Ability to do self-directed work without strict supervision.
- Great time management and prioritization skills.
- Experienced communicator.
- Experience writing and editing on established websites, blogs, and/or publications.
- Passionate about food, retail, urbanism, and being the first to know.
COMPENSATION
Work remotely and on your own schedule. Pay starts at $1,000 per month.
