Small thing I'm very excited about: we finally have a pitching guide on the site! There are pitching tips, details on who to pitch to, and some other details that might be helpful. And we've got some budget this month, so hit me up.
We’re looking for interviews with key developers, op-eds about the biggest PC games, and in-depth features. If in doubt, pitch us anyway. We tend to cover triple-A, big-budget releases, as well as old-school PC classics, and contemporary PC games with passionate, deeply engaged communities, whether that’s an indie breakout or a long-running hobby game like League of Legends. A good rule of thumb is to check Steam’s most-played games stats – we’re likely to be interested in anything near the top.
Rates: £110 for 800 words is where it starts, scaling to the piece.
