About the Freelance Content Writer

Booyah Advertising is seeking experienced content writers to assist with content production for Booyah clients. Our client roster encompasses a wide range of verticals — ranging from edTech ecommerce sites, lead generation services (orthodontists to home builders), B2B services, and more.

Ideally, you’ll have the capacity to create 2-5 articles per week, depending on business need.

This is a freelance position, paid as a contractor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We’re seeking individuals that can:

• Create various types of content including, but not limited to:Blog posts
  Long-form content (e.g. whitepapers)
  Web content (e.g. homepage, service pages)
  Ecommerce content (e.g. product description pages, product category content)
  
• Adhere to AP style guidelines, client’s content preferences, and client’s brand guidelines, as communicated in the provided content briefs
• Respond to content requests in a timely manner
• Communicate with the Organic Media team about content projects and capacity while also working independently to meet production goals
• Work on multiple clients’ content at the same time
• Have regular check-ins and communication with Booyah’s team

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior content writing experience, preferably as a freelancer writing for a variety of industries/vertical
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills (typos are unacceptable)
• Self-motivated, able to work with no supervision
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience implementing SEO-focused content optimizations

PAY:

This position is paid $0.10-$0.18/word, depending on experience and skill set.
