Narratively is collaborating with The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars to produce the next edition of Wilson Quarterly, a global journal of ideas, cultural and news.
We are currently seeking pitches for the upcoming theme: Human Development Authentic reported stories that dive deep into various aspects of human displacement around the globe. All stories must be grounded in first-hand accounts from people who have been displaced by conflict and/or climate change, or profiles of people who are battling to ameliorate it on the ground. We're interested in stories from Africa, Latin America, Asia or the Middle East, and each piece should tell us something surprising and unknown about this crisis.
Please review the Wilson Quarterly website for examples of the types of stories they run before submitting your pitch. Rate: $2,500 per article. The deadline for these pitches is Monday, August 9. Drafts of assigned stories will be due in mid-September.
