Want to work with a rapidly growing company in the content marketing and copywriting space? Kristen Sweeney Consulting is looking for a part-time B2B Content Marketing Writer to manage internal and client marketing content, strategy, and execution.

Kristen Sweeney Consulting is looking for an experienced self-starter to work in our fully remote organization. We provide content strategy, content development, and copywriting services for small to medium size business owners who want to build brand visibility, attract and engage their ideal clients, and position themselves as thought leaders in their industries.

Our target audience is made up of B2B service based industries that often have complex topics for us to tackle. They represent a range of industries including manufacturing, law, healthcare, software development, business and consulting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft emails, blog posts, website copy, sales pages, landing pages, etc. as needed.
• Produce error-free content that adheres to style guidelines and matches the client's established brand voice
• Review and edit all content to ensure clarity of ideas, clear, succinct writing, SEO needs if necessary, and excellent grammar and structure. Content may include blog posts, emails, social media posts, lead magnets, website copy, sales pages, landing pages, etc.
• Interpret creative direction and adapt points from briefs into persuasive copy concepts
• Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business stakeholders
• Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing
• Prepare client marketing plans and determine milestones.
• Refine current processes and develop new processes for creative development including documentation of client brand requirements, audience definition, messaging, aesthetic, etc. to ensure all content developed is high-quality, on message, and unified with the client’s brand identity.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be considered for and perform effectively in this position, you must have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with 5+ years of experience in content marketing and/or copywriting
• Agency experience/dealing with multiple clients is desirable
• Proven experience creating original content and repurposing content across a variety of platforms while meeting or exceeding editorial standards and platform requirements.
• Comfortable, self-confident, diplomatic presence leading meetings and participating in a range of client interactions in high-pressure situations
• Understand and embrace writing for our specific target audience
• Interest in and knowledge of marketing trends
• Undergraduate degree
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fully remote environment; proactive attitude and highly accountable to deadlines and promised deliverables, both internally and externally
