This is a reminder to pitch me some original news stories. Unique community stories, dev insights, or anything else you think would be up our alley (and that you won't find anywhere else) we'd be interested in.
For news stories we discuss rates on a case by case basis. The rate will depend on the quality of the story, whether it is original, whether it’s required interviewing sources, etc. We do have more concrete rates for features and guides though, although pitches for those should go over to our editor as I’m just looking after news.
For features and guides, I believe we charge anywhere between £75 (600 words) and £200 (2,000 words), depending on the length and type of piece.
