WHAT TO PITCH:
- Deep dives on very specific things!
- Reported features!
- Essays that only YOU can write, because only YOU have this idea/have done this research/ have developed this insight
- I'm still looking for the perfect pitch(es) on: Gollum, the trilogy's artistic design, New Zealand
- and many other things! Look at the package and find our blind spots!
WHAT NOT TO PITCH:
- Stories that are not about Jackson's trilogy (takes on the books, Tolkien's life, the Silmarillion, the Hobbit films, etc., that do not reflect on the LotR trilogy films in some way)
- Personal essays (Your personal LotR journey can be a doorway into a story, but it can't be the story all on its own)
- Pitches that lack a developed angle. ("I would like to explore..." is not ready for a pitch. The pitch is what you found when you did that exploration)
