Level: Mid to senior
Duration: Long-term contract (minimum 3 months with potential to extend and/or convert to perm if interested)
Hours: Standard 40-hour workweek (time and a half for any overtime)
Location: Fully remote
A well-known, highly reputable e-commerce company is seeking a hands-on, mid to senior level Copywriter to join their creative branding team as a long-term contractor!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write clear, creative copy for digital campaigns, social media, promotional materials, retail signage, web content, and marketing collateral for events and presentations
- Contribute to the evolution of the company’s voice
- Collaborate with and support the creative branding team
- Provide a range of options for testing themes and positioning
- Partner with stakeholders to create content with a consistent brand message, voice, and tone across all communication channels and products
- Be hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 – 6 years of experience in a professional (post-college) copywriting role
- A strong, diverse writing portfolio
- Professional e-commerce copy experience
- Strong editorial judgment and writing ability
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Familiar with entrepreneurial and tech-driven creative environments
- UX copy experience is a plus!
