We are looking for UX Writer with Micro Copy experience. It is fully remote.

Job Title: UX Writer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

People Systems Experience Design team is looking for a UX writer to help define content that delivers information across our systems in a clear and meaningful way.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position will oversee information architecture review and content development within our People Systems portfolio in order to improve wayfinding and digital adoption.
We work very closely with IT who work with enterprise.
The Specific pillar is focused on user experience and usability of tools. It's a new team. Which will have researchers, designers and content folks. This is the first role within the Content room.
To help make our systems more usable, working with our business teams, understanding the expectation of our systems, applying more design, and building better models.
Content folks who specialize in micro copy work with business, what people need, what do they expect.
They are very well versed in micro copy, written system instructions, alert messages, downtime prompts, labeling and information architecture to some degree.
Someone who has worked more on the marketing side of microcopy.
Looking for background in accessibility & diversity
Speak to how they bring those elements into their way, how they structure content,

To create an accessible copy. Readability is a big factor, where content lives, someone who has awareness is very imp. Don’t have to have the expertise

WHO YOU ARE

You are a lover of words who's interested in how to convey messages succinctly and in a way that's contextual, understandable, relevant and substantive to the reader. You enjoy thinking about the structure of content on a screen and how it can engage and elevate someone’s overall experience. You’re an evangelist of design thinking who's comfortable in working within enterprise systems and has an interest in the HR space.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Partner with business and technical teams to develop and optimize UX/UI content across digital touchpoints in multiple platforms, including navigational nomenclature, onboarding, notification and error messages, in service of crafting consistency and promoting usability
Support usability testing and iterate based on feedback
Contribute to making a style guide within a broader design system that can be referenced by other content writers or platform developers
Support localization of content for a global audience

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated ability in UX writing or content writing
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Experience doing UX writing within enterprise SaaS environments
Systems thinking skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies
Experience in supporting usability testing within a global community
Experience using and interacting with content design artifacts such as style guides and/or information architecture diagrams
Experience with Figma, Sketch, Writer, or other content and design tools
Experience with Agile process

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

History working with People teams and developing content for People programs/systems
Experience working with platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, or SmartRecruiters is strongly preferred
Experience with using journey maps and user personas is preferred
