COMPANY/PUBLICATION: THE MEZZOFANTI GUILD

We are again hiring experienced language learners for The Mezzofanti Guild who are exceptionally talented writers to share their expertise with other language learners.

All foreign languages are welcome (some languages preferred but all considered). Travel/immersion experience highly desirable.

Articles are written in English (native or near-native), and are generally one of the following types: How-To articles, Reviews (language courses, apps, etc.) and General blog posts (list posts, misc.).

Looking to expand our writers and cover more languages. Loads of article examples on the site to give you an idea of what we're looking for.

Rate: $0.15 cents per word (average article length ranges from 1500 - 3000 words).

One of the most important requirements for this job is the ability to research topics properly before writing, and draw from personal experience/knowledge. No fluff or spun/lifted content (we plagiarism check thoroughly). Interlink to our other content. SEO a bonus, but we're more concerned with your ability to produce outstanding content that helps people.

We're stringent with our editing process. Over time, you'd be expected to produce content that requires minimal editing/reformatting on our end and work without guidance. We'll send you a spreadsheet of topics/keywords, and you'll work through the list, submitting top quality articles for editorial review. Initially, you'll send completed articles to us directly (Markdown format ideal), but once we develop a relationship, you will have access to our custom CMS where you can input articles directly.

Opportunity for growth as we're looking to hire a permanent content manager/editor who can oversee other freelance writers.
