Deadline: 6 October 2021
At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. In partnership with Arizona State University and YouTube, we're addressing this issue head-on with a 15-episode series called “How to College.” This series will walk through the “hidden curriculum” of college in four phases: getting in, starting college, navigating successfully, and graduating and moving forward. Everyone should feel they could attain a college degree; we want to help with that!
As a freelance writer, you're responsible for researching and writing scripts on pre-selected college-related topics, working closely with other team members and subject-matter experts to develop comprehensive and consistent scripts. You must be willing to accept critique and feedback until your work is ready for production. It's essential that you are able to collaborate with others effectively and respectfully. College can be incredibly difficult for people; it's important to build thoughtful and empathetic narratives around the subject.
If you're interested, apply for this position by October 6th!
