I run a YouTube channel in the personal finance, investing, economics, and business niche and we’re looking for a long-term freelance scriptwriter/video-essayist to join our team. Ideally, you should be able to:
- Comfortably write in English
- Explain financial concepts in a digestible and entertaining way
- Research information and pay close attention to detail
- Have a natural interest in personal-finance related topics and likes to investigate the nitty-gritty
- Creatively string an entertaining story together based on the topic provided
- Write in a casual and conversational voice
This is a LONG TERM position. We’re looking for 1-2 scripts/video essays per week with ~2500 words per script. We’re looking to pay $250 to $450 per script depending on experience level and work quality. As our channel and business grow, we’re more than happy to increase the rate and even offer other business opportunities.
