We're hiring for a Freelance Writer position. Must have the ability to analyze data and research across multiple sources to come up with engaging narratives and insights. Preferably about concepts important to Jobscan such as the job market, job search process, and others.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Produce data-driven content that are useful for job seekers and drive traffic and influence for Jobscan.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Uncover insights from Jobscan’s rich datasets of millions of resumes, job descriptions, and user behaviors. Publish stories based on these findings. Example topics:
- Are job seekers really going back into the office?
- What % of job seekers prefer remote jobs?
- What % of job seekers are career changers?
- Are sales people harder to hire than engineers?
MUST HAVES:
- Proven articles online of data-driven content that is well-written with easy-to-understand graphs
- Ability to recognize patterns based on raw data
- Good sense of what the audience want to read
