Joseph Hernandez, Deputy Food Editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer, is looking for pitches:
I'm looking for freelance pitches for food, drink, and culture stories for November through January. I'm looking for quick turnaround trend pieces, profiles, Philly-region news stories — all of it. You must use this form to submit pitches: https://forms.gle/np7VY6CXUEt6WNB49
You'll find a link to my pitch guidelines in the form, as well, but it is also here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11vxnYNcvDQo05BLi_21oazY_aAaz-8WPjL0Mu-_kFP8/edit
I'm definitely interested in holiday pieces, but also creative food/drink stories that can be a bit out of the box. We do pay, from $100 for one-off recipes up to $500 for reported features.
