Pitches wanted (science) | $200-$400 per piece

I am once always looking for pitches for science stories. I'm most interested in opinion pieces/weird arguments, personal essays, and stories about misconceptions around health. No single study stories, please. Rates are $200-$400.
I think the ideal piece to pitch to me ($$-wise on your end) is when you have a strong opinion on something related to your beat. I don't require fresh interviews for the sake of them—fine to reference past reporting.
