I'm building a freelance roster for our company, which is syndicating cultural criticism/pop culture coverage to its network of local news affiliates (NY, LA, Chicago, etc.).
Do you love writing about TV and/or film? Are you good at connecting the dots from whatever's happening right now to movies and series of the past? Are you passionate about making arthouse accessible and digging deep into big glossy blockbusters? Hit me up.
Rates vary, starting at $200. Also looking for pitches — interviews, responses to the hot thing of the moment and reflections on hidden gems of yesteryear, takes of all temperatures, anniversary pieces... if you want to write it, I want to read a pitch about it.
And if you're not sure about pitches but are up for assignments, that's cool too! Regardless, tell me a little about who you are and include a favorite byline or two.
Also open for UK writers? Yes.
