We’re looking for a savvy wordsmith to join our small-but-mighty digital advertising agency in the role of a Contractor Copywriter position. We specialize in helping education providers enroll more students with paid ads campaigns.

In this totally remote role, the copywriter will write and edit ad copy for Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube ads, while working closely with other members of the creative team to brainstorm ad concepts for our growing roster of clients.

This will be as-needed at first (ca. 10-15 hours per month), with room to grow. Our ideal candidate isn’t necessarily the writer with XX years of experience, but one with the chops, flexibility, and passion for creating copy that gets people to take action. We get our clients BIG results, and we want you to be excited about that, too!

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

• Writing and editing ad copy for Facebook/Instagram, Google, YouTube ads, with the possibility of some internal copywriting as well
• Writing marketing hooks for clients based on avatar/product/offer details
• Adjusting voice, style, and tone to suit clients and audience
• Revising copy based on feedback/direction
• Focusing on maximizing conversion and adjusting copy as needed to meet KPIs
• Continually raising the bar on creativity, incorporating both current trends and inspiration from other mediums into ad copy
• Communicating your needs effectively and efficiently working with the team to develop high-performing deliverables
• Act as an advocate for your own workload – we don’t believe in that hustle culture life, but sometimes deadlines get tight

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an (online) education setting
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills, while applying both a creative and strategic approach to deliverables. Spanish, French or German skills a BONUS.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Knowledge of digital/traditional sales funnels + the higher education industry (language schools, universities, colleges, online schools, vocation schools etc.) an advantage

OTHER NEED-TO-KNOW’S:

• We are fully remote, with team members spanning several countries and time zones.
• We use Asana and Slack, so familiarity with those apps is helpful.
• Flexible working hours. Work whenever you want!
