Our next issue is themed around disability sport and para-cycling.
One in five people in the world has some form of disability. The Paralympics had 4.25 billion viewers around the world. Yet, disability and disability sport is so under-represented in the media.
This is an edition that will redress that imbalance. It focuses on para-cycling and wider disability sport, putting the emphasis on what these athletes do so excellently Disability does not define them.
This issue will tell untold stories, delight and inform readers about para sport and its biggest stars and most importantly, represent great athletes in non-stereotypical ways, avoiding "inspiration porn" and putting the human being first.
Please send in pitches for consideration by Wednesday. I am looking for international, original, non-stereotypical angles for features. And if you've never pitched us before, please include examples of past feature-writing work. Many don't. Lastly, disability sport is so under-represented.
