THE ROLE

Koda Digital is looking for a Freelance Content Writer to brainstorm, create, and manage high-quality content (blog posts, web pages, whitepapers, etc.) that will help healthcare practices engage with their patients. We’re looking for writers capable of positioning the company as an expert in their industry.You work is absolutely vital to our marketing strategy, and we will feature your content on our clients’ websites, newsletters, and social media. You will work with a content manager to determine topics, but you will be responsible for the outline, content written, and graphics included.

Expected compensation: $0.10/word, typical media length is 700-1,000 words

YOU WILL STAND OUT WITH:

• 5+ years of experience in a content strategy or management role
• Experience in SEO strategy and implementation
• A unique ability to turn somewhat mundane topics into something interesting and worth reading
• Exceptional writing skills with clear, concise copy
• Exceptional editing and proofreading skills
• Ability to create imagery or graphics that support your content - beyond a random Unsplash stock photo
• Passion for digital marketing tactics, trends, and best practices
• Strong interest in healthcare and healthcare technology. Experience in writing about medical topics is a plus
