6sqft is looking for a writer to join our team to write shopping guides featuring home, design, and lifestyle products. The ideal candidate must have experience working with affiliate networks and writing commerce content. Writer is paid per story, starting at $150 each.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Source and write 1 to 2 shopping guides per week
Pitch story ideas for affiliate content
Stay up to date on trends and new products

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience as a writer for a digital publication/blog, or equivalent education and experience
1-2 years of experience writing commerce and affiliate content
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with affiliate marketing networks and shopping trends
Excellent time management and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

PREFERENCES

Experience working in WordPress
Familiarity with using data to guide content decisions
Knowledge of best SEO practices

LOCATION

Ideally located in New York City, but can work remotely.
