Role Description: Web Copywriter
Pay Rate: $38 - $42/hr, Fully Remote
We are seeking a Web Copywriter to be placed at our client, a high tech company in the Bay Area! This consultant will work remotely to be part of a major rewrite of the client's website pages.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Copywriting for new products on site including writing product descriptions
- Leverage style/brand guides to write original web content from scratch
- Working across a larger team to coordinate what is needed to write copy
- Writing Long-Form and Short-Form Web Copy, as well as eBrief, eBook,...
- Creation of templates and/or alternate writing content as required
- Reporting of progress as needed with client and raising any red flags with respect to timelines
- Editing existing pages for voice, tone etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven success writing web content (samples required)
- Experience with content marketing
- Corporate website experience
- Ability to explain complex products in a simple and engaging way
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Polished verbal and written communication skills.
