BEPC is looking for an experienced copywriter (5+ years’ experience) with extensive experience creating for social media to join our Global Social Media Team. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team to create social media campaigns that expand our presence across all our social media platforms with work that is culturally relevant, newsworthy, and deserving of a consumer’s time and attention.
W2 Contract Period 9 months
Pay Range: $50.96/HR to $73.26/HR plus we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits!

We’re looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about telling stories and crafting work that helps bring people closer to our brand. You’re a conceptual thinker who brings a high level of craft to all facets of your writing – whether post copy or a video script. You have experience conceptualizing, collaborating within social media and understand how to both engage our existing community of members and capture the attention of new audiences. You are a builder. When you decide to make something, you see it all the way through to launch.
You love what you do because no two days are the same and each day presents you with a new puzzle requiring an elegant solution. You still get that familiar physical sensation when a thought suddenly turns into an idea. You don’t think there is such a thing as a small brief—just small ideas. And, while you still like to be hands on, you are quite comfortable collaborating as part of a team and even directing work done by outside partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop compelling, engaging copy for a variety of social media channels and asset types to drive consumer awareness, fan engagement and conversation
- Understand the cultural zeitgeist and what is resonating in social media conversation
- Leverage effective use of tactical copy approaches on social media like character counts, hashtags, link in bios, and other features
- Clearly understand and execute social media copy in the brand’s tone of voice and guide the development of social media brand tone of voice in every social asset review
- Assist with consumer facing social copy as well as creative social briefs to capture the essence of the final campaign product
- Review and edit social media scripts and ensure brand resonance while still creating copy options for talent that allows personality and authenticity to shine through
- Review, edit and revise social media brand guideline toolkits for clear communication and consistency
- Create strategic, conceptual solutions that are rooted in the brand and are optimized for the best practices of each social platform.
- Be an advocate for and a practitioner of creative that is challenging, innovative, and culturally relevant.
- Understand the primary audience for each platform, how they engage content and the content opportunities each platform offers (eg. Stories, Polls, Reels, etc.).
- Intuitively know how to tell a story on behalf of a brand and how to make that brand feel both human and organic to each social platform.
- Develop standalone creative posts as well as creative campaigns that are comprised of static and video assets
- Collaborate effectively with team members—designers, art directors, editors, creative directors and marketing partners.
- Stay on top of social media trends to actively engage new audiences.
- Manage your time effectively whether within a group or when you’re working independently.
- Understand how to translate brand voice into everything you do and everywhere you do it.
- Elevate the quality and consistency of our social media presence across all platforms, globally.
OUR IDEAL PERSON MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience with a concentration on organic social media. You must be a passionate user of social media and understand, at a minimum, the social behavior and features across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Experience working on national brands at the agency or brand level where quick turnaround times & robust volume of content are the norm and you actively culture of innovation, collaboration, excellence and accountability.
- Excellent collaborator across highly matrixed teams, with clear, excellent communication around project status, deadlines and roadblocks.
- Strong understanding of best practices across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, YouTube, Tik-Tok) and how they can be used to create great content.
- Strong portfolio of national brand work.
- Strong communicator and partner.
- Ability to prioritize your time and work with deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies and vendors.
