POSITION OVERVIEW
Trust Relations is looking for an experienced copywriter in the tech/B2B space to join our dynamic team. You will be working as a remote freelancer (1099 contractor) creating PR and marketing materials on behalf of our tech and B2B clients. We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic and can help maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across multiple channels for multiple clients at any given time.
You’ll work closely with our teams to write press releases, blog posts, white papers, etc. on behalf of our clients; help research and write new business proposals to build out our tch/B2B client portfolio; assist with internal marketing materials for Trust Relations as a company, and more.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Creating well-researched and compelling, clear and error-free content for Trust Relations’ tech/B2B clients, including press releases, blog posts, white papers, website copy, etc. to integrate into PR strategies and campaigns.
- Developing and fostering an exceptional rapport with clients to understand their message, brand voice and target audiences.
- Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way for clients and carrying out projects once they are approved.
- Taking the creative direction and technical information provided and molding it into persuasive copy concepts.
- Collaborating with account teams to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials.
- Working with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their expectations.
- Helping to create high-impact media exposure by converting complicated information into digestible, exciting content.
- Developing out-of-the-box content ideas and strategies both internally for Trust Relations and externally for our clients.
- Drafting new business proposals and assets. Responding to client requests in an efficient manner.
- Managing several assignments across client accounts with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Performing both ongoing and ad-hoc projects as necessary.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 4+ years of experience producing copy in the tech/B2B space
- B.S./B.A. in communications, public relations, marketing, business communications or related field
- Proven success in producing copy for PR, advertising or marketing campaigns
- Creativity and adaptability to ever-changing circumstances and deadlines
- Must have both the ability to work independently without guidance, as well as collaboratively with a team
- Must have a well-rounded understanding of B2B/tech marketing space
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Out-of-the-box thinker and creative writer
- A team player and a joy to work with -- this is a non-negotiable at Trust Relations ;-)
