As per the title of my post, I'm looking for accomplished writers to ghostwrite op-eds and opinion pieces for my clients, which are then published in media outlets such as Forbes, Tech Crunch, Barron's, etc.

The topics are mostly business, finance, real estate, government policy, and technology.

Writing these articles requires a specific skill set, where you need to contextualize the information you find through your research to then create novel narratives/opinions that haven't been written before. We call this "joining the dots".

For example, we've recently written a number of op-eds for a real estate client, arguing how the CDC eviction moratorium has resulted in institutional investors massively moving into the private rental sector, as many mom and pop landlords have been forced to sell to them due to the losses they've incurred from not receiving rent for X number of months - so the big picture narrative is that an unintended consequence of the CDC's well intention moratorium has been to push more private rental ownership away from small investors and into the arms of big business.

A lot of writers who come on board and write for us fail to grasp this properly, and will often turn in "blog" style articles (i.e. just a broad overview of the general topic), which is not what we need.

Therefore, I'm interested in talking to experienced ghostwriters who have written opinion pieces, as you'll have a good grasp of this style of article writing.

To be clear - I'm not interested in talking to blog writers/SEO content writers. This is not to disrespect your profession, yours is also a valuable skill, but 99% of these writers that have tried to ghostwrite op-eds for us didn't hit the mark.

This will ideally become a long term relationship with writers producing 3-6 articles per month for us.

Pay rate starts from $0.15 per word. Can also pay comparable hourly or project rates.
