Letterdrop is an end-to-end content marketing platform. Today, we help B2B companies attract more customers through SEO and email marketing. We make it easy to produce content for your business that converts visitors to customers.

OUR CONTENT GOAL
We're looking to invest in content to educate Heads of Marketing, Content Marketers, and Small Business Owners about content marketing. We want to be the go-to source for all things SEO, socil, email, and content marketing for them. The goal for our content is two-fold:
- SEO Attract new customers via SEO. We will be writing content around certain content pillars as a part of a broader content strategy based on keyword research.
- Re-engagement Educate existing customers and leads by repurposing our blog content as an email newsletter.

OUR AUDIENCE
Our target audience is savvy with growing a business but may not know the ins and outs of content marketing specifically. They need information structured in a way that's clear and can tell them what they need to know concisely in a few lines. At the same time, we want to be able to expand to create comprehensive no-BS no-fluff resources for them if they choose to read further.
WORKING WITH US
From our side, we promise to be organized, provide you with a style guide, a good description of what is needed, relevant reference resources, and the target keyword for each post. We will provide you with tools like Grammarly Business, an SEO checker, and plagiarism checker.
WE EXPECT WRITING TO BE:
- well-researched: Cite your sources. Make sure that we provide valuable and relevant information.
- not fluffy: We do not care about hitting word counts and saying empty sentences. If it's filler content, it gets edited out.
- reads like you speak: This isn't an academic paper or Shakespeare. Write like you speak.
- follows our style guide: After the first one or two pieces, we expect you to learn how we like to communicate.
- written in American English and is grammatically correct: self-explanatory
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Writing 4 blog posts around 1200-1500 words long per month
- Composing tweet threads and LinkedIn posts summarizing these blog posts
This is a contract part-time position that we estimate this to take about 1 working day per week. We would like to work with you for 6 months to a year at least.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Prior experience writing for software companies or ability to adapt your writing to it.
- Familiarity with marketing principles. You should be able to research and write intelligently about the space.
- A passion for writing and the English language. You’re excited to tell stories through quality long-form content. You’re ok with writing content where the primary goal is to educate and persuade.
- We are flexible about hours and deadlines. We can give you up to a week per post. We prefer quality content to rushed content. Once timelines are set, we expect them to be followed barring unforeseen circumstances.

- Deliverable is a blog post along with a short summary for a Twitter and LinkedIn
